Here are just a few pictures I've gotten so far...
Entrance to my new home, I live up the stairs to the left. More pictures to come of my house.
View of the walk to take the bus to work. This is the old airport that is now used as a track for running in the early mornings or evenings. The Andes are hidden behind the clouds.
Pedestrian bridge where the Pano and Tena river meet, marks the middle of town.
Entrance to the clinic, peds are on the left and adults to the right.
Mural for the clinic
Inside the clinic- PTs at work.
Although these pictures aren't the greatest, I think it's a good start to give you an idea of what I've seen so far. As the year goes on I hope to get better pictures of the Andes, pictures of the hospital, some pics of my kiddos that I'll be working with, and some of my new family. :) For now, these will do.
Very sweet to have the class right there! And, yes, the pictures are a great start; I'm very curious about your new home and work. What kind of time off will you have to get to know the town and area better? What's the "work week" there?
